Welcome to Articans, we are a small shop in Norwich selling craft beer and second-hand books. This is a new website that we’ve launched in June 2026, but it’ll be expanded to have lots more content about books, beer and local history over the next few weeks.

You can have a look at our beer selection and then reserve it to pick up either at Articans or the neighbouring Artichoke. You can either pay by card or cash if picking up from Articans, or we’ll send bank details if you’d like to collect from the Artichoke.

We also have more information about our books, details of our events and also updates from our bar billiards team! And here are some of our new beers in June 2026 and in July 2026.

We’re open from 14:00 until 19:00 on Fridays and Saturdays where Dylan will be about to help with any beer related queries! We will be opening longer hours from August 2026.
